Onboarding Timeline
Creating a timeline for yourself and your organization is a great way to meet your ultimate goal of completing your setup while keeping every ball in the air. In the table below, you can see our recommended milestones. We encourage you to set deadlines to keep up your momentum.

Onboarding Goals
What do you hope to achieve during or soon after onboarding? Our most effective users have goals to provide structure and inspire strategy to their weeks, months, and quarters. We invite you to write down your specific goals to help focus your efforts.
Example: "We want to automate all recurring emails to leads in our first month on the platform."

Team Information
Creating a record of your people, processes and tech stack will help you structure your account. It's important to make sure that all of your people have the proper access to your account, this is usually based on role. Additionally, Follow Up Boss is a strong system for systems! Documenting your own processes will make it much easier to create them in Follow Up Boss. Your tech stack is your tool belt. Make sure you have an accounting of all of the software you use to run your organization. It is likely that we can connect it to Follow Up Boss.

Onboarding Checklist
(Not all steps will apply to your team)
STEP 1: Add Admin Staff to FUB following these steps.
STEP 2: Follow and complete the steps in this Getting Started Guide for Admins.

STEP 3: Plan out your data mapping details to ensure everything is imported
STEP 4: CRITICAL STEP - Fill out the Company info and Business Registration. This will help legitimize your business to the cell carriers and allow you to send text messages successfully.
STEP 5: Add Agents to FUB ⚠️⚠️⚠️Complete the above step before adding agents so that your team has something to look at and do when they log in for the first time.
STEP 6: Send an email to your team introducing Follow Up Boss. Listed below is an example email.

Hi team,
As you know, we are transitioning to Follow Up Boss! Follow Up Boss (FUB) is going to help us serve even more clients during their buying and selling journey. With priority lists, communication tools and client and prospect insights built into FUB, keeping on top of our opportunities will be even easier. Here’s what you need to do next:
Review and complete the steps in this checklist: FUB Agent Checklist & Training
You must complete the following checklist steps.
STEP 6: Choose and set local FUB numbers (or assign ported numbers when ready if applicable). See Guide on porting numbers to FUB here.
STEP 7: Create Custom Lead Routing Groups for non-Zillow lead sources. For new Zillow Flex leads, we will automatically route and assign your leads as they come into FUB according to your Zillow lead routing rules, so there is no need to have groups set up for these in FUB.
STEP 8: Set Lead Routing Rules to route your non-Zillow leads based on certain criteria like Zip Code, City, Price Points, Tags, etc. to certain Groups or Agents. Add Action Plans on lead flow to auto-engage new leads as they come in.
STEP 9: Add Action Plans on lead flow to auto-engage new leads as they come in.
Step 10: Create Teams (if necessary) to quickly scope smart lists, reports, and more to specific groups of people on the team.
STEP 11: Create Ponds (if necessary) to help you group leads into opportunities for your team to actively grab and work.
STEP 12: Add the FUB Pixel to your website to capture new inquiries as well as track saved and viewed properties for easy viewing on the lead profile.
STEP 13: Connect all Lead Sources to FUB
STEP 14: Request full/deep export from previous CRM
STEP 15: Schedule date for Agent Training and Send Agent to Do Checklist
STEP 16: Import Contacts **Agents should have contacts in FUB before training to allow for immediate use following training**
STEP 17: Authenticate your Custom Domain to Improve Email Deliverability.
