Call Recording, Transcripts and Summaries offer advantages to teams of various sizes. Whether you are away from your desk and need the ability to revisit a call at a later time, or are reviewing call recordings for coaching purposes, Call Recording, Transcripts and Summaries can benefit you.
Important: Make sure to check which laws apply to you with your lawyer before enabling this feature as some states do not allow call recordings. Call Recording is disabled by default. Learn more about the Call Recording Disclosure Setting here.
Call Recording, Transcripts and Summaries
With the Follow Up Boss Dialer, calls can be recorded and summaries and transcripts can be generated for quick follow-up. To learn more about each feature, check out Call Recording and Call Summaries & Transcripts.
How to Enable
Turning on Call Recording will automatically turn on AI Call Summaries & Transcripts. This power-up can only be enabled by account owners.
1. Click your Image/Initials in the upper right-hand corner > Power-Ups
2. Under Account Features, toggle On Call Recording, Transcripts, and Summaries
Note: Enable Power Up: Call Recording Disclosure to automatically play a call recording disclosure before the call connects.
How to Disable
Account Level
To turn off Call Recording + AI Call Summaries & Transcripts for the entire account, the account owner will go to their Image/Initials in the upper right-hand corner > Power-Ups > disable Call Recording. Turning off Call Recording will automatically turn off AI Call Summaries & Transcripts.
User Level
To turn off Call Recording + AI Call Summaries & Transcripts for specific team members, the account owner will go to Admin > Teams. On this page, recorded calls can be turned off for specific users by deselecting the Recorded Calls checkbox. When the record calls checkbox is not checked for a user, their calls will not be recorded. Turning off Call Recording will automatically turn off AI Call Summaries & Transcripts.
Note: Incoming calls and transfers to Team Inboxes will still be recorded if Call Recording is enabled on the Power-Ups screen, regardless of the individual user settings on the Admin > Teams page.
