Knowing when to follow up with a lead can be hard. Ryan Melville created an effective system for follow-up using smart lists.
How it Works
The idea behind this process is to add tags based on the frequency with which you want to follow up with your leads. These smart lists rely on adding the following tags: Daily, Weekly, Bi-Weekly, Monthly, and 6 Months.
Typically you would add the daily tag to your new leads as you are trying to qualify them. After a certain timeframe, you would remove the daily tag and add another tag based on the frequency you'd like to continue following up with the lead.
