As an account owner of a Pro or Platform plan, you can secure your entire Follow Up Boss account by enforcing Google sign-in for all users (except lenders). This means all admins and agents on your team must use Google sign-in and username/password login will no longer work. This is a great way to further secure your Follow Up Boss account.
Lenders are excluded because they usually work at a different company and have an email address on another domain, they will still be able to log in with a username/password after Enforce Google sign-in is enabled on your Follow Up Boss account.
Note: With Google Sign-In enabled, there can only be one person signed into each user's FUB account at a time. Otherwise, Google will find the same account attempting to log in from two different locations suspicious and will not allow them to log in via Google.
Enabling Google Sign-In
Connecting Your Google Hosted Email
As an account owner, your Follow Up Boss login and connected email need to be your company email address hosted with Google Workspace (G Suite). To edit your login and connected email, go to your Initials/Image in the upper right-hand corner > My Settings.
Please note that a personal email address such as john.smith@gmail.com will work with your own Google sign-in but won't allow you to enforce Google Sign-in for all users in your account (except lenders).
Verify Your Email
After connecting your email, click Verify Email. Then open your email and click on the link to verify your email address.
Team Member Emails
Make sure that all other users (except lenders) in your Follow Up Boss account use a company email address on the same domain as yours. To view team member emails, go to Admin > Teams.
For example, if your email address is joe.boss@mycompany.com then all users need to have a Follow Up Boss login and connected email on the same domain, e.g. anna.smith@mycompany.com.
Toggling on Enforce Google Sign-In
Only the account owner can toggle on this feature.
1. Go to your Initials/Image in the upper right-hand corner > Power-Ups
2. Navigate to Account Features > Enforce Google Sign-In
Note: Once Enforce Google Sign-In has been enabled, all users (except lenders) in your Follow Up Boss account will need to use their Google account to sign in and won't be able to log in with a password anymore. This feature can be disabled at any time by clicking the toggle again.
