API Integration

Note: The owner of the account must complete the API integration.

1. Create a Follow Up Boss API Key by going to Admin > API

2. Select Create API Key

3. Name the API Key ez Verify > Create API Key

4. Press Copy

Note: The API key will be used in step 7.

5. Log In to ez Verify

⚠️ Important: Ensure your ez Verify account is active and the initial database scan has been completed before integrating with FUB.

6. Navigate to CRM Provider Setup

7. In the CRM Provider field, add Follow Up Boss > Paste the FUB API Key > Next

Optional: Check the box to update the phone number label for numbers on the DNC list.

Enable the Embedded App

1. Navigate to FUB and go to Admin > Integrations

2. Embedded Apps > ez Verify

3. Select Enable

Confirm Successful Integration

Once connected, you will see the app activated on the right-hand side of each lead profile in FUB.

Understanding DNC Identifiers

Contacts listed on the Do-Not-Call (DNC) registry are clearly marked in multiple places for easy visibility. You’ll see DNC tags, custom fields, and a clear “Yes” status in the redesigned ezVerify panel inside Follow Up Boss, which makes it easy to know who’s safe to contact.
