How Hyperlinks Work
A hyperlink is a link to another website or file, activated by clicking on a highlighted word or image in the email body/signature. When a hyperlink is clicked, Follow Up Boss reports the click to further engage with the lead. Here is more information: Open and Click Tracking for Emails.
How to Hyperlink Text
- Compose the Email Template/Signature
- Highlight the text you want to be hyperlinked
- Click Add Link (chain icon)
- Paste the link > Insert Link
- Complete your email template and press Save
How to Hyperlink an Image
- Go to Admin > Email Templates > Add Template
- Click Insert Image (mountains and sun icon) > Select the File > Open
- Select the Image in the email by highlighting the image with your cursor > click Add Link (chain icon)
- Paste the Link > Insert Link
- Complete your email template and press Save
