The notification settings page displays the types of notifications that are available and provides customized settings for each event.
Access Your Notification Settings
Access the notification settings page by clicking on the gear icon in your Notification Bell. Changes here affect how you get notified about Follow Up Boss events. These settings affect only you, not the rest of your team.
Alternatively, Notification Settings can be accessed through My Settings. To navigate to My Settings, click your initials or image in the upper right corner > My Settings.
Notifications are sent by different channels, each shown in a column:
- Notification Bell
- Mobile push
- Text message
- Email notifications are sent to the address you use to log in to Follow Up Boss
Note: We can only track opens and clicks for emails sent from directly inside of Follow Up Boss. Some email services may block content within the email that prevents us from tracking opens.
These alerts will tell you if anything is standing in the way of you receiving any Follow Up Boss notifications, along with recommended next steps.
Note: Receiving Mobile notifications is managed through your phone settings. Please make sure you've enabled those settings to ensure you get all the notifications you need!
When there is a missed call to a team inbox, Follow Up Boss sends an email notification to the inbox users to notify them of the missed call. This is a default notification that cannot be turned off.
