The Inbox is an intuitive way to track conversations with your Follow Up Boss contacts. Access your calls, emails, and text messages from one place across the web and mobile devices.
Your daily goal should be Inbox Zero, meaning all communications are actioned on each day (Delegate, Defer, Do Now, Delete). Make it a priority to clear your Inbox every day, the same as you would for a to-do list. This way you're ready to go with a clean slate every morning!
Your inbox will only display communication with the contacts you have in FUB, excluding marketing emails, spam, bills, etc., so you focus on the people you need to respond to most.

By default, all calls stay in the inbox so you can close them after you action them. Best practice is to add the caller as a new lead, return the call, or add your call notes before closing the call.
If your account prefers connected calls to be auto-closed, reach out to support@followupboss.com to toggle a setting to auto-close answered. Missed calls and voicemails will stay in the inbox until they are manually closed with this feature toggled.
Using the Inbox on the App
Accessing your inbox on the go is crucial to stay on top of communication. Check out iPhone: Inbox, Android: Inbox, and Team Inbox: On the Mobile Apps to learn more about the inbox on the app.
Google Sync
The inbox syncs with Google so anything already archived in Google will be archived in your Follow Up Boss Inbox and anything you close in Follow Up Boss will be archived in Google.

Troubleshooting the Inbox
If you see a lot of emails in your inbox from yourself or one person (e.g. one of your emails or an assistant), you need to remove that contact/email address from Follow Up Boss. Saving a team member's connected email address to a lead profile will pull all email communication into Follow Up Boss. Removing connected email addresses from lead profiles will let you focus on the emails and texts you need to respond to.
