When you change a lead stage to “Trash” the lead is removed from Smart Lists and Searches. At some point, you may want to recover those leads. You can recover trashed leads by locating the lead(s) and changing the stage from “Trash” to a different stage such as “Lead" or "Active Client”.
Note: Account Owners and Admins have the ability to delete contacts.
Individually Recover
1. In the Search bar, enter the name of the contact you are looking for
2. Select # person/people in trash at the bottom of the search results
3. Click on the contact name to be directed to the profile
4. Change the stage from Trash to another stage such as Active Client
Mass Recover
1. Go to People
2. Filter to Stage > Include Trash
3. Use Mass Actions to update the Stage
