Overview
Listing map search lets you pull up active MLS listings on an interactive map directly inside the Follow Up Boss mobile and web. You can:
- Open a map of active listings in your area
- Pan and zoom to the exact neighborhoods your buyer cares about
- Tap a pin to preview key details and open the full listing detail page, where available
- Share a property with a lead or contact from FUB via text, or copy the link, address, or MLS ID
All without switching to your MLS app or a browser on your phone, in supported markets.
Why it matters
Bouncing between Follow Up Boss and other tabs or apps slows down conversations and makes it harder to keep everything logged in one place. Map search keeps property search, client conversations, and follow up together in FUB so you can:
- Quickly show what’s available around a specific neighborhood, school, or landmark
- Stay in the same app you’re using for texts and calls with your buyer
- Jump into full details (via the listing detail page) to qualify a home before you recommend it
Who can use it
Map search is exclusive to the Zillow Pro membership. It relies on MLS data, so availability depends on two things:
- MLS availability: MLS licensing isn’t available in all markets yet. We’re working to license MLS data for more markets as quickly as possible. If listing search isn’t live in your MLS yet, map search won’t show listings, but you can add your name to the waitlist.
- MLS Verification: You must verify your MLS membership in Follow Up Boss before we can show MLS listings on the map.
How to use it - on the web
1. Open the map
Sign in to Follow Up Boss on desktop.
Click the Listings tab in the top navigation.
On the Listings page, use the tab to switch from list view to map view.
In map view, you’ll see pins or price clusters for active listings in the current area.
2. Search the right area
Click and drag to pan the map across neighborhoods or cities.
Use your mouse scroll wheel or the on‑screen zoom controls to zoom in or out until the map matches your buyer’s target area (around a school, commute route, or landmark, for example).
As you move the map, the listings update to match what’s on screen.
3. Filter and explore
Narrow down the results with filters for:
Price
Beds and baths
Property type (for example, single-family or condo), where your MLS provides it
The filters work much like the ones in your MLS.
