This September, we're upgrading how you sign in to Follow Up Boss. It's a more secure sign-in, and if you use other Zillow professional tools (dotloop, Showcase, or Preview), one login will be able to work across them. Here's what to expect.
What's happening
Starting this September, you'll sign in to Follow Up Boss through a new, more secure login page. If you use other Zillow professional tools like dotloop, Showcase, or Preview, the same login can work across them, so you're not managing separate sign-ins.
What stays the same
Everything inside Follow Up Boss. Your contacts, leads, pipeline, and daily workflow don't move and don't change. The only thing that's different is how you sign in.
A more secure sign-in
Along with your password, you'll set up an extra verification step (multi-factor authentication) using either your phone number or an authenticator app, whichever you prefer.
After setup, you won't be asked for it every single time, only when the system needs to re-confirm it's you (for example, when you’re signing in from a different device or location). This added step applies when you sign in on the web.
Your data and privacy
This is a login change. It does not enable new data sharing between Follow Up Boss and Zillow.
If you've set up the Zillow integration inside FUB's admin settings, that's a separate, opt-in feature. This change doesn't turn it on or change it.
Do you need to do anything?
For most people, no. When your account moves over, you'll sign in on the new page, complete the quick verification setup, and you're set.
If you use more than one Zillow tool with different emails
If you use Follow Up Boss and another Zillow professional tool (like dotloop, Showcase, or Preview) with different email addresses, you can match them ahead of time so one login works across all of them.
Matching your email |
Prefer to keep your accounts separate?
That's completely fine. You don't have to match your emails; you'll simply keep signing in to each tool separately.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to set up the extra verification?
Yes. It's required on every account; there's no opt-out. It's what makes the new sign-in more secure.
Do desktop sessions stay logged in like before?
Desktop sessions now expire more often for security, so you'll sign in more frequently than you used to. With a password manager, it's quick. Your mobile app session isn't affected the same way.
My password manager didn't fill in my login. What do I do?
Because the login page moved to a new address, your password manager doesn't recognize it yet, so you'll enter your password once and save it when prompted. It'll fill automatically after that. One note: if you also use another Zillow professional tool with the same email as Follow Up Boss, use that Zillow password to sign in, it's now your login for FUB too. If you only use FUB, your existing FUB password still works.
Is Zillow getting access to my leads or data?
This is a login change. It does not enable new data sharing between FUB and Zillow. Data about you, your use of FUB, and your clients will continue to be processed and used by Zillow, Inc. as described in our Zillow Privacy Notice, FUB Addendum to the Zillow Privacy Notice, and FUB Terms of Service.
Does this mean I have a Zillow Pro account now?
You have a Zillow Pro login that works across your Zillow professional tools. Think of it like using a Google login to sign into a different app: the login is shared, but the products stay separate.
Do I need to set this up again on the mobile app?
No. You'll sign in on the app the same way you do now, and there's no separate setup beyond signing in.
Can I still sign in with Google or Microsoft?
Yes. You can still sign in with Google or Microsoft. You'll just set it up once on the new login page, choose the account you want to use, confirm it, and set a password. After that, it works the same way it does today.
