iHomefinder provides IDX websites, property search, and marketing automation for real estate professionals. With this integration, leads generated on your iHomefinder website can flow directly into Follow Up Boss for fast follow-up.

You can also send leads from Follow Up Boss into iHomefinder for unified lead management using flexible, no-code setup options.

The integration supports multiple configurations:

  • One-way via email forwarding (iHomefinder → Follow Up Boss).

How it works

Send leads to Follow Up Boss using email forwarding

You can forward new iHomefinder leads directly into Follow Up Boss using your unique Follow Up Boss lead routing email address.

  1. In Follow Up Boss, locate your unique lead routing email address.
  2. Log in to your iHomefinder Control Panel.
  3. Go to Setup.
  4. Select Advanced Routing.

  1. Under “Other,” paste your Follow Up Boss lead routing email address.

  1. Click Save.
  2. Submit a test form on your website to confirm the lead appears in Follow Up Boss.

Any new leads from your website will be automatically emailed into Follow Up Boss.

Send leads to Follow Up Boss using Zapier

You can use Zapier to create an automated workflow between iHomefinder and Follow Up Boss.

  1. Log in to Zapier.
  2. Click Create Zap.
  3. Select iHomefinder as the trigger app.
  4. Choose New Lead as the trigger event.
  5. Connect your iHomefinder account using your username and password.
  6. Select Follow Up Boss as the action app.
  7. Choose Create Contact as the action event.
  8. Map iHomefinder fields to Follow Up Boss fields.
  9. Test and publish the Zap.

Alternatively, you can start the Zap from within iHomefinder:

  1. Log in to your iHomefinder Control Panel.
  2. Go to Setup.
  3. Select Account.
  4. Click Integrations.

  1. Select Zapier.

  1. Choose Use this workflow for “Create or update Follow Up Boss contacts for new iHomefinder leads without triggering action plans.”
  2. Map fields and publish.

Once published, new iHomefinder leads will automatically sync into Follow Up Boss.

Receive leads from Follow Up Boss in iHomefinder using Zapier

To push Follow Up Boss leads into iHomefinder:

  1. Log in to Zapier.
  2. Click Create Zap.
  3. Select Follow Up Boss as the trigger app.
  4. Choose New Lead as the trigger event.
  5. Select iHomefinder as the action app.
  6. Choose Create Lead as the action event.
  7. Connect both accounts.
  8. Map the appropriate fields.
  9. Test and publish the Zap.

Once enabled, new leads created in Follow Up Boss will be sent to iHomefinder automatically.

Follow Up Boss Pixel Integration

Note: iHomeFinder websites use AJAX forms which are not compatible with the Pixel. Therefore the Call To Action is the only Pixel function available with iHomeFinder websites. 

1. Log In to Follow Up Boss

2. Go to Admin > Integrations > Pixel by Follow Up Boss

3. Tracking > Copy Code

4. Email the Pixel code to iHomeFinder Support at support@ihomefinder.com for installation.

Troubleshooting

Leads not showing in Follow Up Boss

  • Confirm the correct Follow Up Boss routing email address is entered in iHomefinder.
  • Submit a test form on your website.
  • Verify that the Follow Up Boss account is active.

Zap not firing

  • Ensure both accounts are properly connected in Zapier.
  • Confirm the trigger app (iHomefinder or Follow Up Boss) has a recent test lead.
  • Review the Zap history in Zapier for errors.

Leads missing fields

  • Check field mapping inside Zapier.
  • Confirm required fields, such as name and email, are being passed.

Delays in lead delivery

Zapier and email parsing can take several minutes to process new leads. Minor delays are expected.

FAQ

Do I need coding or a developer?

No. All setup methods use either email forwarding or Zapier and can be completed by an agent or admin.

Does iHomefinder pull in activity history from Follow Up Boss?

No. Only lead information is exchanged. IDX property search behavior remains visible within iHomefinder.

Can I route iHomefinder leads to multiple Follow Up Boss users?

Yes. Lead routing can be configured inside Follow Up Boss after the lead is received, based on your CRM routing rules.
