Automations 2.0 is a simplified version of automations within Follow Up Boss that enables users to streamline and enhance their workflow through automated processes. This upgrade allows for more customizable and dynamic automation rules, enabling agents to efficiently manage tasks, follow-ups, and communication with leads.

Automations 2.0 Permissions
The account owner and admin users can create and edit automations.
Creating Automations 2.0
1. Go to Admin > Automations
2. Select + Create Automation
3. Drag a Trigger to the canvas

4. Complete the Trigger Steps
5. Continue to the steps by dragging a Control and/or an Action to the canvas and completing the step

6. Add to the automation (optional), review, and Save Changes in the upper right-hand corner
7. Name the automation, select the desired automation Behavior, and Save
8. Lastly, Enable the automation so it is active
Automation 2.0 Folders
Automation folders are designed to streamline and organize your team's automations. To create a folder, click Create Folder in the upper right-hand side of the Automations tab.
To add an automation to a folder, select Actions > Move to Folder > Select the Folder > Save Changes.
Automations 2.0 Dashboard
- Name: The name of the automation
- Linked Automations: The number of times the automation is linked to another automation
- Steps: The number of steps (controls and actions) within the automation
- Started: The number of times the automation has started
- Engaged: The number of contacts who responded to an automation email, or the automation was manually paused
- Completed: The number of times the automation has completed
- Created By: The owner or admin who created the automation
- Status: Disabled or Active
- Created On: The date the automation was created
- Actions: Edit, Delete, Move to Folder, Duplicate
