Save time and scale what works by sharing your best automations. With just a few clicks, you can give teammates access to high-performing workflows — or publish them to the Automation library to help the broader FUB community.
⚠️ Note: Only the automation owner and users with Admin permissions can share automations.
🧭 Ways to share Automations
You can share automations in two ways:
1. Direct sharing (via link)
Generate a unique link that teammates or other account users can use to preview and copy your automation into their own workspace.
2. Automation library sharing
Publish your automation to the Community Automation Library, where any FUB user can discover and use it.
🚀 How to share an Automation
Go to the Automations page in Follow Up Boss.
Click the ellipsis (⋯) on the automation you want to share.
Select “Share” to open sharing options.
-
Choose your sharing method:
Enable sharing for this automation – Creates a private, shareable link.
Share to Automation library – Makes your automation discoverable in the public library.
(Optional) Edit the name before sharing.
-
If sharing to the library:
Add a description – Explain what the automation does and when to use it.
Select a category – Helps others find it by use case.
Click “Done” to finish sharing.
🔗 Direct sharing via link
When you enable sharing, Follow Up Boss generates a unique link that anyone can use to:
Preview the automation steps
Copy it into their account
Customize it to match their own workflow
💡 Best for:
Sharing across your team
Training new agents
Distributing standardized workflows to multiple locations
📚 Sharing to the Automation library
When you share to the library, your automation becomes publicly discoverable by all FUB users in the Community section.
Before publishing, you’ll need to:
Add a clear description
Select the right category (e.g. Lead Assignment, Drip Campaign, Lead Behavior)
💡 Best for:
Contributing best practices to the FUB community
Sharing coaching or brokerage-wide templates
🔄 Managing shared Automations
✅ Updating a shared Automation
Changes you make will automatically update the shared version.
Users who’ve already copied it will keep their own separate version.
❌ Removing sharing
To stop sharing an automation:
Click the ellipsis (⋯) > “Share”
-
Toggle off:
Enable sharing for this automation
or Share to Automation Library
Click “Done”
The share link will stop working, and the automation will be removed from the library if it was published there.
