To import contacts to a pond, start by importing the contacts with yourself as the assigned agent and then use mass actions to reassign the imported contacts to the pond.
Import and mass assign leads to a pond
1. Go to Admin > Import and click the Import Your Contacts button
2. Choose your CSV file and click Open
3. Confirm Opt-In Consent > Yes, I Confirm
4. Select fields to map information in Follow Up Boss & click Save & Continue
5. Select Assigned Agent and Stage for import (if not specified in the file)*
6. Add Tags to import (optional)**
Tip: Add a unique tag to your import. Then filter to that tag to find and reassign all contacts from the import at once.
7. Start your import!

8. After your import finishes, click on the number in the Added column to find the contacts created by the import
9. Click the check box in the upper-left corner to select all contacts. If you have a long list of contacts, be sure to click "Select all contacts" to select the full list:
10. Click the Mass Actions (person) button and choose Assign Pond:
11. Choose the pond you want to assign the leads to and click Assign Pond.
12. Your import is automatically deduplicated by checking to see if you have someone with the same email address, or the same name AND phone number. If we find a match, the contact will be updated instead of creating a duplicate. If your import has Updated or Duplicate contacts, go back to Admin > Imports > View Past Imports, and repeat the steps for the Updated and Duplicate contacts.
If you make a mistake when mass assigning to the pond, go to your Mass Actions History and undo it.
