Overview
MLS Verification is a quick one-time step that gets your account ready for better property data in Follow Up Boss.
When you verify your MLS membership, we can securely connect your account to licensed MLS data so we can start adding richer listing details like prices, photos, and property info directly into Follow Up Boss.
Note: MLS-powered features are only available in markets where MLS data is supported.
Verifying your MLS in FUB lays the groundwork for features we’re rolling out, like:
- Listing search
- Saved searches and property alerts
- Property insights across your leads
- More complete listing data across Follow Up Boss
Once these are available in your area, you’ll already be set up. No extra work needed.
What happens after you verify
Once you’re verified, MLS-powered data will start showing up across Follow Up Boss (where available), like in your inbox, lead profiles, and property views.
You may not see a big change right away. That’s expected.
Access to some features depends on your setup:
- Search listings and save searches (currently only available for Zillow Pro FUB users)
- View enriched property insights (available to all Follow Up Boss users)
- Access full property data within the Zillow Insights module (Zillow Pro and Zillow Preferred leads only)
- See MLS-backed listing data across surfaces like Inbox and Lead Profile Page (all FUB users)
If these features are not live in your area yet, you’ll already be set up for when they are.
How to verify your MLS membership
You can verify your MLS membership directly inside Follow Up Boss in just a few steps:
- Go to your My Settings page
- In the MLS Profile Verification section, click Link Profile
- Follow the prompts to complete verification
Once you’re verified, you’re all set. As MLS-powered features become available in your area, they will automatically show up in your account.
