Your HomeStack-powered app integrates directly with your Follow Up Boss (FUB) CRM. When clients register in your app, their information is automatically sent to Follow Up Boss.
Leads are checked against your existing database. If no matching record exists, a new contact is created to help prevent duplicate entries.
In addition to contact details, HomeStack can log in-app activity directly to the Follow Up Boss contact record.
What information syncs
Contact data
When a client registers in your HomeStack app, the following information is sent to Follow Up Boss:
- Name.
- Email address.
- Phone number.
If the contact already exists in Follow Up Boss, the system checks for a match before creating a new record.
App activity logged in Follow Up Boss
The integration logs the following HomeStack app activity as contact activity in Follow Up Boss:
- Showing requests.
- Viewed properties.
- Favorited properties.
- Notes on properties.
- Saved searches.
This provides full visibility into your client’s search behavior directly inside their Follow Up Boss profile.

Troubleshooting
The lead is not assigned properly
- Confirm the email address used in HomeStack matches the email address in Follow Up Boss.
- If you have agent seats in HomeStack that do not exist in Follow Up Boss, leads will default to your primary or default Follow Up Boss account.
Duplicate concerns
HomeStack checks incoming contacts against your existing Follow Up Boss database. If a matching record exists, a new contact will not be created.
Frequently asked questions
If I have a team, does each person need to set up their integration?
No. If you are the admin of your Follow Up Boss account, you only need to add the API key once under your HomeStack super admin account. The integration will apply to your entire team automatically.
If a HomeStack contact is assigned to a specific agent, will that reflect in Follow Up Boss?
Yes. The integration carries over the assigned agent information and ensures the contact is assigned accordingly in Follow Up Boss.
