This integration automatically syncs new Crexi listing leads and engagement activity into Follow Up Boss so your team can follow up without manual entry.
Crexi is a commercial real estate marketplace where brokers and teams market listings and capture buyer or tenant interest. This integration ensures leads are available in Follow Up Boss in near real time for routing, automation, and follow-up workflows.
How the integration works
- A prospect engages with your Crexi listing (for example, submits interest or downloads a flyer).
- Crexi creates a lead record and sends it to Follow Up Boss via the API.
- The lead appears in Follow Up Boss with contact details and listing context.
What syncs:
- Lead name.
- Email and phone number.
- Company and industry role.
- Property name, ID, and address.
- Level of interest and last action date.
- Lead source set to Crexi.

Set up the integration
Part A: Create a Follow Up Boss API key
- Log in to Follow Up Boss.
- Select Admin, then select API.
- Click Create API Key.
- Enter a name (for example, “Crexi Integration”).
- Copy the API key and save it securely.
Part B: Connect Follow Up Boss in Crexi
- Log in to Crexi.
- Go to the Integrations hub.
- Select Follow Up Boss as your CRM.
- Click Connect.
- Paste your Follow Up Boss API key.
- Enable Lead Sync and confirm field mappings.
- Confirm the integration shows Connected.
Part C: Test the integration
- Open an active Crexi listing.
- Perform a lead action (for example, submit an inquiry using a test contact).
- In Follow Up Boss, go to People.
- Locate the new lead and confirm:
- Source is Crexi.

If you don’t see the option
- Crexi integrations may not be enabled for your account. Contact Crexi support.

If you cannot create an API key, your account may have API key restrictions. Contact your Follow Up Boss admin.
Troubleshooting

Integration not visible in Crexi:
CRM integrations may be limited to certain plans. Contact Crexi support. -
Cannot create API key:
API key restrictions may be enabled. Ask your account owner for access. -
Invalid API key error:
API keys are only shown once. Create a new key and reconnect. -
Leads are not syncing:
- Only new leads sync after setup.
- Ensure the action creates a lead (for example, flyer download or inquiry).
- Confirm Lead Sync is enabled and fields are mapped.

Duplicate records in Follow Up Boss:
Leads using different emails or phone numbers may create duplicates. Standardize test data when verifying.
