Use this article to understand how the rokrbox integration with Follow Up Boss (FUB) works, how to connect it, and how to troubleshoot common issues. This integration is designed for rokrbox clients using Follow Up Boss as their CRM.
Before you begin
- You must be the Follow Up Boss account owner to authorize the integration.
- You will receive an authorization link from your rokrbox onboarding specialist.
- Your lead sources and stages should be configured during onboarding.
How the integration works
rokrbox connects to Follow Up Boss using OAuth 2.0. Authentication is handled automatically through a secure authorization flow—no API key is required.
Once connected, the integration runs automatically and supports two-way data syncing:
- Leads and contact updates sync from Follow Up Boss to rokrbox.
- Call results, notes, and tags sync from rokrbox back to Follow Up Boss.
What rokrbox does
When connected, rokrbox:
- Syncs new leads for immediate outbound calling.
- Logs every call attempt as a note on the lead timeline.
- Tags leads based on outcomes such as "rokrbox - Live Transfer" or "rokrbox - Hot Opportunity."
- Posts AI-generated call summaries for qualified conversations.
- Keeps contact details updated across both systems.
- Stops calling leads when a designated stop tag is applied.
rokrbox uses its own phone numbers for outbound calls. Your Follow Up Boss tracking numbers are not affected.
How to connect rokrbox to Follow Up Boss
- Click the authorization link provided by your onboarding specialist.
- Log in to your Follow Up Boss account.
- Select Authorize to grant access.
The integration is configured automatically after authorization. No additional setup is required.
Important: Only the Follow Up Boss account owner can complete this process.
What you will see in Follow Up Boss
After connecting, you will see the following updates on your leads:
- Call notes in the lead timeline (for example, “rokrbox Called Lead - Call Result: Live Transfer”).
- Tags applied based on call outcomes.
- Pinned AI summaries for qualified conversations.
You can use these tags to trigger Action Plans, build smart lists, or create automations within Follow Up Boss.
Troubleshooting
New leads are not being called
- Confirm the lead’s source and stage match your onboarding filters.
- If you recently updated sources or stages, contact your rokrbox account manager.
Call results are not appearing in Follow Up Boss
- Contact your rokrbox account manager or email support@rokrbox.com.
- Include the lead name or Follow Up Boss lead ID.
A lead is still being called after applying a stop tag
- Ensure the tag is spelled exactly rokrbox - stop.
- Check for extra spaces or typos.
- If the issue continues, contact your account manager.
Error when authorizing the integration
- Confirm you are logged in as the Follow Up Boss account owner.
- Clear your browser cookies and try again.
- If the issue persists, contact support.
Disconnecting rokrbox from Follow Up Boss
- Contact your rokrbox account manager to disconnect the integration.
- Or go to Admin > Integrations in Follow Up Boss and remove rokrbox.
