Key events that happen to your lead such as New Inquiries or changing the Stage to Nurture could be an indicator that your lead also needs to be released to a Pond. Here we will walk through using an automation to release your lead to the Pond.
Pulling a Lead from the Pond based on new activity
If a lead is sitting in the pond, you want to make sure that new activity brings this lead to top of mind. You can use an automation based on new activity and pond assignment to make sure your pond agents know to work this lead.
First, you will pick the trigger event. We recommend using "A new property Inquiry". Next you will choose the condition "Pond" and include whichever pond (or all ponds):
Next, you will choose an action plan that utilizes the step, "Add Note". You can add your note and then choose to Notify "Pond":
At this point, agent's can begin contacting the lead and once contact has been made, assign the lead to themselves.
Releasing to the Pond based on new activity
Let's say you have a lead that has been sitting stale without any activity or communication. When that lead has new activity, you want all hands on deck to make sure this lead is taken care of.
First, you will pick the trigger event that will release your lead to the Pond. Try using the website activity triggers with the Follow Up Boss Pixel to pick up on these new events.
Next, you will choose a condition. You can use any conditions, but we recommend using Last Communication to make sure this lead isn't actively being worked.
Last you will set up your action plan to have one step which moves the lead to a pond.
