Contacts can opt in and out of text messages at any time. When a customer opts out of text messages, future texts from your Follow Up Boss number will not be delivered unless they opt back in. Opting out applies to texts sent from any number in your FUB account, including 1:1 texts, action plan texts, and appointment reminder texts.
Opt-Out
Opting out will prevent all future text messages from being delivered. Contacts can opt out of receiving text messages at any point by texting one of the following keywords:
- STOP
- STOPALL
- UNSUBSCRIBE
- CANCEL
- END
- QUIT
Once the number has opted out, it will appear orange on the lead profile.
Note: The opt-out text will appear on the lead timeline.
Opt-In
Opting back in will allow text messages to be sent again. Contacts can opt-in to receiving text messages at any point by texting one of the following keywords to the number they opted out of:
- START
- YES
- UNSTOP
Once the number has opted in, it will appear blue on the lead profile.
Note: The opt-in text will appear on the lead timeline.
