Inbox Apps help you keep track of all of your conversations with your Follow-Up Boss contacts, including those that happen outside of Follow-Up Boss. 🎉 Access your calls, emails, text messages, and now integration partner app messages from one place across the web and mobile devices.
How to View Messages and Reply
Inbox
The partner app conversation can be found on your Inbox page alongside your other team inboxes, ready for you to respond. You can also manage the users who have access to your partner app conversations from your Inbox settings here, please see our Team Inbox Settings Overview for complete details.
Pro-Tips: We recommend assigning the conversation to the agent assigned to the lead profile. Conversations where the lead has not interacted yet can be moved to the Closed folder and will automatically re-open when the lead responds.
Lead Profile
You may also respond directly from the lead profile, where you'll find the integration partner conversation thread listed under the lead's timeline which you can easily filter by. Check out our Lead Profile Overview to learn more about the lead timeline.
For accounts that have inbox apps connected, the old "Texts" tab on the lead profile is now called "Messages."
If you have inbox app conversations with a lead, you can select a channel through a drop-down menu to choose between text messages and any inbox app conversations.
When viewing a lead’s timeline, each inbox app message now has a reply button, which brings you to the top of the page to draft your reply, without needing to switch back to your main Inbox.

Inbox Apps introduce a unique integration opportunity by allowing partners to seamlessly integrate their third-party communication platform into Follow Up Boss. Text-based communication platforms like instant messaging and texting can be integrated directly into Follow Up Boss as a first-class communication medium, elevating a real estate team's communication capabilities to deliver top-notch client services faster than ever.

Will WhatsApp messages be available? Facebook Messenger?
WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger are being considered for future integrations. For the most complete and up-to-date list of available partner Inbox Apps please see your Admin > Integrations > Inbox Apps section here. Pro-Tip: A lot of agents will add the Facebook Messenger conversation link to the lead profile using our Custom Fields tool for easy access to the conversation in Facebook Messenger.
If you are viewing the lead profile page when a new message comes in, it won't show up right away. You can refresh the page to load the newest message in the conversation. Our engineering team is working on an update that will automatically show the newest message while you're on the lead profile screen.
When looking at the Inbox conversation previews please note the preview will not always show the latest message. Click on the preview message to see the latest message in the conversation. Our engineering team is aware and working towards a solution to the preview lag.
