At times, agents represent leads on the buying and selling side. To stay organized with two transactions, there are a couple of options.
Option 1: One Lead Profile
This option is best for cases in which the same agent is working with the client to sell their home and buy another. The benefit of this option is to keep everything in one place and easily reference each deal.
Note: We recommend creating custom stages for these specific leads to identify where they are at in their buying/selling process.
This option is not recommended if 2 different agents, on the same team are working with the lead. The limitation of this option for 2 agents is that only the assigned agent receives notifications about the lead, not the collaborator.
Option 2: Two Lead Profiles
This option is best when two different agents are working with the lead, one for buying and one for selling. The benefit of this option is keeping each agent informed with lead notifications as they will be the assigned agent of the respective lead profile.
Note: This option is not recommended if one agent is representing the lead in the selling and buying process. This is due to all emails syncing to each lead profile (as each lead profile has the same assigned agent), which eliminates the separation of the two deals. Emails to/from the assigned agent will only sync to the lead profile with the corresponding assigned agent.
