What’s going on with FUBCON this year? Where can I buy a ticket?

Now that Follow Up Boss is part of Zillow Group, we have a big opportunity to make FUBCON bigger and better. We’re partnering up with Zillow and ShowingTime+ on a new event called Unlock. 

Unlock is a real estate technology conference that will bring leaders from North America's top-performing teams into one room for a one-of-a-kind event focused entirely on accelerating the growth of real estate teams. With a mix of strategic, tactical and networking sessions, Unlock will deliver both short-term and long-term wins for guests who are ready to level up their business. 

FUBCON will be a content track within the larger Unlock event. Guests will have access to a full menu of FUB-focused sessions, inspiring keynotes, networking events, and a curated expo hall. They’ll also be able to hop over to the content tracks produced by Zillow and ShowingTime+ at any time, which means access to more sessions on a wider variety of real estate topics. 

Due to limited capacity at the Chelsea Theater and the need to make space for customers from all three brands partnering on the event, Unlock will be an invitation-only event. When tickets become available (expected in June), selected customers will receive an invitation via email. 

Who gets invited? Why wasn’t I invited?

The best conferences create a highly actionable experience - meaning you go and walk away with things you can implement in your business right away. To make sure Unlock delivers maximum ROI, we’re going to tailor the content to a narrower audience, rather than trying to do something for everyone. 

Unlock 2024 will be focused on larger teams with 10 or more agents, so those customers will be invited first.

How much are tickets?

As of May 2024, ticket prices are still being finalized. We expect them to be significantly less expensive than previous FUBCONs. This is a big advantage of partnering up with Zillow and Showingtime+: with a larger event, we have the purchasing power to reduce costs for everyone.

What’s changing? Will this be as good as FUBCON?

Think of Unlock as FUBCON plus a whole lot more.

You’ll get inspiring keynotes on a variety of real estate and business topics and panel discussions from industry leaders, just like at FUBCON. There will also be even more FUB deep dives led by FUB staff and your industry peers, so you walk away with immediate improvements to your business. 

Because we’re focusing Unlock on larger teams, you can expect the networking to be first-class and on top of all that, you can jump over to the Zillow or ShowingTime+ content tracks anytime something on their programs sounds interesting to you – your ticket gets you access to everything. 

I’ve gone to FUBCON before. Why can't I go this year?

Previous FUBCON attendees will be given priority for Unlock invites, even if their team is smaller. But still, not every previous FUBCON attendee will be invited to Unlock because we think that the content won’t be as relevant for solo agents or very small teams. We don’t want you to spend your time and money and not see a great ROI on your investment. 

I already bought a super early bird ticket to FUBCON 2024. Will I get to go to Unlock?

FUBCON 2024 early bird tickets will be refunded. Those who bought them will be invited to buy Unlock tickets when they’re released.

I wasn't invited to Unlock. Will you ever have something I can go to?

Yes. We’re looking at hosting events with Zillow and ShowingTime+ in cities nationwide next year. We are going to test a few markets out this fall. We hope to have a lot more options for teams of different sizes to get high-impact training for the specific stage of their real estate business, and to make it more accessible by bringing it to multiple cities. Our goal is to host events that deliver maximum ROI by providing content that’s tailored to the needs of a specific audience, rather than trying to be a jack of all trades.

I brought my entire team last year. Why can’t I this year?

Unlock is designed to serve people who are leading larger real estate teams, and that’s who our content will address. It simply won't be relevant for every single person on your team. But everyone invited can purchase up to five tickets, so we encourage you to bring your operations lead, senior sales leader, or additional team members who you think will benefit from Unlock.

I'm only interested in FUBCON content. Can I just buy a ticket for that?

No, we are only selling tickets to the entire conference, but you will be able to choose which sessions you attend. You’re still getting more value from your ticket this year. 

I’m supposed to get an invite but I can’t find it.

Unlock invites will be sent to the email address you use to log in to your FUB Owner’s account, so be sure to check that inbox.

I got my invite, but when I try to buy a ticket it won’t accept my email address.

Your invite is tied to the email address you use to log in to your FUB Owner’s account. If you have that email address set up to forward somewhere else, your invite may have ended up in a different inbox. Use the same invite, but try entering the email associated with your FUB Owner account.
